Welcome to the Turret B&B, where you will find excellent bed and breakfast and guest house accommodation in the village of Lynton, Lynmouth on the North Devon coast, part of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. The Turret is situated in the centre of Lynton village, within easy reach of the famous Cliff Railway, interesting and unusual little shops, restaurants, museums, galleries, and the picturesque harbour at Lynmouth, North Devon. We are a small family-run guest house offering comfortable, high quality, good value bed and breakfast (B&B) in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Offering good value and a warm welcome

The twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth have been a popular holiday destination since before the Victorian era, when the area became known as England's 'Little Switzerland', due to the 600ft height difference between the harbour and Lynton village, and because of the hilly nature of the countryside. The Turret is an ideal base from which you can explore Exmoor National Park, with its miles of heather clad moorland and secret wooded valleys, and North Devon's spectacular rugged coastline. You will find a wealth of things to see and do in this part of England's West Country, whether you like an active holiday or a more relaxing break. Exmoor is a wonderful place for a walking holiday, and there are several walks you can do directly from the Turret, taking you through some stunning countryside and dramatic coastal scenery. Cyclists and horse riders will also find Exmoor and North Devon the ideal holiday destination, with miles of bridleways to explore.

The Turret Bed and Breakfast is close to several excellent surfing beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde and Putsborough, with their long stretches of golden sands. The resorts of Ilfracombe, Bideford and Westward Ho! are a short drive away, with the famous village of Clovelly and the North Cornwall coast just a little further. You can take a boat trip out to see the dramatic coastline from the harbour at Lynmouth or enjoy a cruise to Lundy Island from Ilfracombe or Bideford.
